Trevor and Jaqueline’s Bucyrus, Kansas wedding took place at the beautiful Holy Rosary Wea church in Bucyrus, Kansas on June 1st, 2019. Their Kansas wedding day was so incredibly beautiful and it was so fun to get to meet these two and their big group of loving family and friends.
I always tell brides to try not to stress about the chances of rain on their wedding day. Leading up to their big day we had a back up plan in place just in case, but it seemed like we were going to be in the clear for outdoor portraits.
As we were taking family pictures we saw the clouds rolling in and were trying to get as many photos taken as possible when we started feeling drops of rain. I have to say, Jacqueline and Trevor along with their family and wedding party were so awesome at being flexible and rolling with it. As it started to rain they all piled on the bus and we decided to try to look at the radar and drive towards sunnier skies. As we were driving it started to downpour and hail! And then, a few minutes later….beautiful clear skies. We were able to pull over at a park and soak up a little more portrait time before heading to the reception. It all worked out perfectly, thanks to such a laid back, flexible group of people!
The reception was so much fun. They had an amazing live band and a surprise visit from Willie the Wildcat! I loved getting to work with you all and capture these special memories from your big day. Enjoy this sneak peek and get excited for many more photos to come your way very soon!
