I believe in real moments. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. I believe in images that are itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on walls for years to come.
While I have always loved taking pictures, my passion for photography grew when I started having children of my own. I started learning how to use my camera during their little years because I wanted to be able to document their childhood to the fullest. I still pinch myself when I think about all that has transpired since I first picked up that camera.
Prior to becoming a photographer I spent 12 years teaching elementary school. I taught a year of 2nd grade and Kindergarten, but the majority of my teaching career was as a 3rd grade teacher.
As my own children are getting older and I am fully aware of how fast it flies by, I am more passionate than ever about making sure to freeze time and memories for others through my lens.
Whenever I have my camera in my hand, I strive to create beautiful and emotional images that tell a story and showcase the beauty of both the people in the images, the world around them, and the season of life they are in. Even with it's ups and downs, your life, and your stories are beautiful and I can't wait to create images to show that!
Being invited in to capture your most important life moments is the greatest honor.
