A beautiful summer 8th and Main Event Space wedding in Grandview, Missouri.
I always love getting to shoot at new venues and had such a blast capturing Cody and Shelby’s 8th and Main Event Space wedding day. This gorgeous gold accent wall was so incredibly beautiful. What a beautiful focal point as you walk in the room. It was the perfect backdrop for Cody and Shelby’s indoor ceremony.
We spent the morning capturing the two of them getting ready and spending time with their close family and friends. The two chose not to see each other prior to their ceremony and instead shared letters with one another before they walked down the aisle.
After the ceremony we braved the heat and drove a few miles to Minor Park for portraits. We even got to use the Old Red Love Locks Bridge in Kansas City. It was my first time being there for pictures. I always love discovering new locations! It was definitely toasty out and everyone was such good sports about shooting pictures in the July heat. We were all a bit sweaty by the end, but despite the elements, outdoor portraits are always so worth it!
Their reception was filled with delicious food, an adorable donut bar, yard games in the outdoor space, great music, and lots of dancing! These two were surrounded with so many family and friends on their big day!
Shelby and Cody, thank you for trusting me to document your precious memories. I always feel so honored when a bride and groom ask me to capture the biggest day in their love story. Your day was so much fun to be a part of! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Page!
